How to Play HEVC H.265 Videos on 4K TV via USB

I have lot of movies in 1080p x265 and want to play in 4k led TV via USB in future, because currently I have 1080p HD LED TV of Sony. I am interested in buying Sony KD 43x7000e model. I think this model is 4k and supports HEVC.

Some guys have the intention to play HEVC on 4K TV via USB like above user. Well, as far as we know there are a few things to look at when checking compatibility.

You want to make sure the container, the video, and the audio are all supported. For example, if your file is an MKV container, HEVC video, and DTS audio. And according to the manual you posted, the TV supports the MKV container. It also says it supports H.265 video in an MKV, which is the same as HEVC. So you’re good for video, but the audio may be an issue. The manual explicitly says AAC audio. So we don’t know how the TV will handle this.

In this case, a quick solution is to convert H.265 MKV video to 4K TV fully compatible format (both video and audio codecs) for easier playback. Here Brorsoft Video Converter is surely the best HEVC Converter that supports converting HEVC MKC videos in any formats faultlessly.

This software is a powerful H.265 encoder, decoder and converter. It can help you convert H.265 MKV (DTS) to H.264 MP4 (AAC), H.265 MP4 (AAC) for easy playback with 4K TV. What’s more, this video converter severs as a wonderful H.265 video player for you. And with the built-in video editor, you can personalize and retouch your videos in clicks. If you are running on Mac OS X, you can get Video Converter for Mac. Download the program and learn how to change HEVC video seamlessly for your 4K TV.
